WHO WE ARE
Founded in June 2024, LaLa Speaks Foundation (LSF) is a Missouri-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about brain aneurysms and reducing fatalities through the support of innovative research.
LSF was established in memory of Jacqueline Rhone, the founder’s daughter, who tragically passed away at the age of 39 due to a ruptured brain aneurysm. The foundation’s mission is to educate the public, increase awareness of brain aneurysm risks, and secure funding for life-saving preventive research. Together, we aim to turn awareness into action and bring hope to those affected.
OUR INSPIRATION
The LaLa Speaks Foundation was born out of the devastating loss of Jacqueline Rhone, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Jacqueline’s life was tragically cut short by a brain aneurysm on May 19, 2024. Her unexpected passing came after a series of symptoms—difficulty hearing, speaking, double vision, and more—that went misdiagnosed due to her ongoing battle with high blood pressure and a kidney disorder.
Despite the immediate care she received, Jacqueline’s condition rapidly worsened, and we were faced with the unimaginable decision to say goodbye. It is through this profound heartbreak that we were inspired to act. The LaLa Speaks Foundation was established to raise awareness, promote early detection, and fund research into brain aneurysms—a critically underfunded condition.
In Jacqueline’s memory, we are committed to ensuring that others do not face the same misdiagnoses and missed opportunities for treatment.
Our mission is to drive change in brain aneurysm awareness and research, providing hope and support to families navigating this silent threat.
